Welcome to Rosemont House

Rosemont House is a studio run by musician/producer Benny Bassett. The space is ideal for singer songwriters, duos or small arrangements.

Benny has always had an interest in production, and has worked to develop the skill in between breaks from his intense touring schedule over the past several years. During the pandemic, Benny worked intently to build up his studio and his engineering skills. You can hear his work on his most recent EP release called "What You Believe" and on a song called "Eclipse" by Amanda Kay on Bandcamp.

During his journey as a musician, Benny has had the chance to record with grammy-nominated engineers, and has watched and learned working on hardware and reel to reel tape while in Chicago. Benny believes that producers and engineers should be more than a person that hits record and adds some reverb. Producers and engineers should be like an additional band member, adding to sonic ideas, melodies, or suggesting compositional thoughts that broaden the scope of a project or recording.
